North Auckland Coastal Home

North Auckland

2026

This coastal home was designed for easy everyday living for two, with the flexibility to welcome the wider family when they come to stay. Developed with considerable input from the clients, the design balances open living spaces and coastal views with the need for privacy from neighbouring homes and the beachfront.

Brick cladding provides a durable, low-maintenance exterior, while cedar adds warmth and softens the coastal palette. Inside, raking ceilings, timber cabinetry and flooring, textured finishes and carefully considered lighting create a relaxed, welcoming feel. A built-in window seat offers a quiet place to enjoy the outlook.

Our involvement extended well into the interior design, working closely with the clients on materials, finishes and details to create a cohesive home, inside and out.
