Thoughtful architectural design for new homes and renovations

Hi Cameron,

We have been living in our new home for nearly a year and we thought it about time to say a very big THANKYOU to you for designing our dream home.

The design process went brilliantly, you got to know the site, listened to our wishes and then you added your Magic formula which resulted in a design that ticked all our boxes. Your working drawings were the most detailed we have ever seen. I am pretty sure that the speed and quality that the builders achieved onsite was a direct result of your detailed working drawings. During construction when issues arose, as they always do, we worked together with the builders and yourself and in all cases speedily agreed very workable solutions.

The finished look and feel of the house is both stunning and very liveable, from the moment we moved in it has felt like home. Should any of you future clients wish to give us a call they would be most welcome.

Kind regards
Ros and Greg

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Cameron. From the very beginning, he listened to what we wanted but also came up with ideas and a layout that we would never have thought of ourselves. The final design makes so much better use of the space than we imagined.

Cameron also worked on our kitchen design and his attention to detail with this was outstanding.

Cameron managed the council consent process efficiently, making what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward, everything was handled professionally and promptly. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Cameron Aitken Architecture to anyone considering redesigning their home. We didn't have the budget to extend our house but Cameron's vision on how to use the space differently allowed us to have a larger family bathroom, an ensuite and a walk in wardrobe… Cameron helped to manage the project from design to council sign off but he was also thankfully available to help problem solve any required changes with our builder.

As first-time renovators, Cam was such an asset to our project. He was great to deal with, taking the time to understand what we were after and explaining how we could get there. He communicated well throughout (we had lots of questions!), was transparent with costs and timing, and managed all the consent admin, too. His work is considered and thought out, and we’re really happy with the results.

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Cameron through my business, NZ Builders, on multiple projects, as well as engaging him to design my family home. Both professionally and personally, Cameron has been fantastic to work with. From a builder’s perspective, his drawings are exceptionally clear, detailed, and practical, which greatly facilitates the construction process. For clients outside the industry, his plans are also easy to understand, making the entire design experience seamless and stress-free.

We cannot speak highly enough of Cameron at CA Architecture. It has been a pleasure to work with Cameron to bring our new build to life. His communication, feedback and attention to detail is exceptional. Cameron has made every effort to accommodate our ideas and incorporate the 'special character' component required for the area… We would not hesitate to recommend Cameron for the design of your new home or renovation.

Cameron was the architect for our recently finished new build and would highly recommend his services. He really understood the brief and what we were looking for in our family home. He was great to work with and provided support right through to completion. We've just just recently moved in and so happy with everything – his attention to detail was amazing.

Nothing but great experience with Cam. We’re very new to home design and renos, and Cameron was really informative and insightful, providing us with loads of options to meet our own interests and budget. It should be known that Cameron also has an eye for internal design and was really helpful with internal fixtures and furnishing decisions too.

Cameron designed our new home and we found him a pleasure to work with. He listened carefully to understand our vision and needs so he could translate it into the highly liveable and lovely home we now have. Our builders enjoyed working with Cam as much as we did. The detail and clarity of his plans, his responsiveness, professionalism and easy manner made our new build stress free for both us and our builders.
Cam listens, suggests great ideas, and is attentive to detail. His availability and expertise ensured our home came in on time, to budget and to the quality we wanted. I highly recommend Cameron Aitken Architecture

We couldn't recommend Cam highly enough.

From the very beginning, he took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve and worked closely with us to bring our ideas to life. He's designed a beautiful, functional family home that suits exactly what we were looking for.

Throughout the process, Cam has always been happy to answer questions, offer advice and help solve any challenges that have come up. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and he's consistently gone above and beyond for us.

One thing that has really stood out is the level of detail in his drawings. They've made life much easier for our builders and subcontractors, with very few questions needing to come back to us or Cam because everything has been so well thought out.

Our home is still under construction, but we've had a fantastic experience working with Cam and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. We'd love the opportunity to work with him again on another project in the future.
